Heavy rain and storms in Devon and Cornwall have caused several incidents of flooding.
Devon Fire and Rescue Service had to retreive several cars stranded in deep floodwater, and rescue a taxi driver trapped in his vehicle in Plymouth.
In West Alvington, crews pumped out a farmhouse and properties were also flooded in Dartmouth and Kingsbridge.
In Cornwall, fire crews were called to two incidents of flooding in Redruth and Sandy Hill, near St Austell.
Flood watches
Devon Fire and Rescue Service said the first flood-related calls came in at about 2300 BST on Sunday.
Firefighters had to go to the rescue of several people stuck in deep floodwater along Sutton Road and Gydinia Way in Plymouth. The taxi driver was pulled out of his cab in Pennycross.
Flood water was also pumped out of properties in the Deer Park, Mutley and Laira areas of the city.
The West Alvington farmhouse was severely damaged after being flooded, the brigade said.
In Dartmouth, a number of properties in Charles Street were flooded out. Properties were also pumped out in Bridge Street and Fore Street in Kingsbridge.
In Cornwall, an appliance from Camborne attended a property at Carnkie in Redruth to pump out more than 1ft (0.3m) of water.
A crew from St Austell were called to a similar situation at Sandy Hill where more than 1ft of water had run off a field into a property.
More heavy rain is forecast and the Environment Agency has flood watches still in place on several rivers, including the Yealm in Cornwall, the Avon and Erme in south Devon and the Coly in east Devon.
An agency spokesman said most rivers had peaked, but there was "a lot more rain coming in this afternoon".
