Exeter hospice set for £1m revamp

Charity Hospiscare is launching an appeal to raise £1m to redevelop its Exeter hospice.

When the hospice opened 12 years ago, the charity cared for up to 150 and now it cares for nearly five times that number across mid and east Devon.

The 12-bed ward will be refurbished, including the introduction of flat communication screens for each bed.

A new three storey wing will be built and a daycare unit will be extended to provide more therapy rooms.
