Lorry driver escapes cliff plunge
A lorry driver had a narrow escape after his vehicle plunged 60ft down cliffs in north Devon.

The man was winched out of the cab of the skip-carrier by fire and ambulance crews after the accident, which happened on Thursday morning.

It happened on a stretch of the A399 known as Skid Ravine at Combe Martin.

Police said a crane is needed to lift the lorry back up the cliff and the road was likely to be closed for at least two hours.
