Name of car death woman released
Police have named a woman who died in a two-car road accident in east Devon.

Ruth Hookings, 23, from Exmouth, was driving a Ford Fiesta that was in collision with a Toyota Previa on the B3180 at Aylesbeare on Friday evening.

The Toyota contained a 40-year-old woman from Sidmouth and her 11 and 15-year-old daughters.

They were treated for minor injuries at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. Ms Hookings was found dead at the scene near Quarry Cross.
