Jobs lost at tourist attraction
Nearly 30 people have lost their jobs after a popular Devon tourist attraction went into receivership.

Twenty-eight of the 54 workers at Cardew Design PLC on the outskirts of Bovey Tracey have been made redundant.

Cardew is the world's leading producer of unusual teapots and its pottery attracts over 100,000 visitors a year.

The problems follow the failure of an American venture. Receivers say they are looking for buyers for the business and stress the site is open as usual.
