Man quizzed over missing teenager
Charlotte Pinkney
Charlotte Pinkney: House to house inquiries have proved fruitless
A man has been arrested in connection with the disappearance of north Devon teenager Charlotte Pinkney.

The 22-year-old man from Ilfracombe is being questioned by police in Barnstaple.

Police have been searching for Ms Pinkney, 17, from Ilfracombe, who has not been seen since she left a party in the town early on 28 February.

She is described as white, 5ft 2in tall, small build and has very long straight dark brown hair.

Mother's appeal

Police divers have been searching two reservoirs off Slade Road in Ilfracombe.

Divers will resume their reservoir search on Tuesday
They are also carrying out door to door inquiries in the area where Ms Pinkney was last spotted.

She was being dropped off near a girlfriend's home by a man driving an H-registered Vauxhall Cavalier at 0400 on 28 February.

Ms Pinkney's mother, Sara McKee, made an appeal for her daughter to get in touch.

"Obviously we are all very worried and concerned. We just want you to get in touch with us, just to let us know you are ok.

"Anybody else who is out there who may have seen her, please contact the police."
