Body of man discovered in field

Police have cordoned off a field in part of Derby after a man's body was found by a member of the public.

Officers were called to the scene at Acorn Way in Oakwood at about 1215 GMT on Monday.

A Derbyshire Police spokeswoman said the body had been found by a member of the public but the incident was not being treated as suspicious.

She said the man has not yet been formally identified. A file is being prepared for the coroner.
