Youths held over 'linked' crimes

Two youths have been arrested over a series of crimes in Derbyshire which police believe may be linked.

A Co-op employee was the victim of an attempted robbery in the car park at the back of the store in High Street, Chellaston, at about 0215 BST.

Earlier four youths entered a flat in the same street and assaulted the female occupant.

A taxi driver was later assaulted and had property stolen after picking up four youths from Chellaston.

Police said two youths, aged 16 and 17, were arrested in connection with the three incidents and remain in custody.
