Swap aims to get children reading

A book swap is being held at a National Trust property in Derbyshire to encourage more children to read.

Sudbury Hall, which also hosts the Museum of Childhood, is running the event on Saturday and Sunday.

Families are being urged to bring well-thumbed volumes they do not know what to do with.

The museum has a number of books to swap or give away and property manager Leslie Law said youngsters would have a good selection to choose from.
