Teenager admits killing schoolboy

A teenager from Derby has admitted murdering a 15-year-old boy who was shot in a park in the city.

Callum Campbell, 19, of Osmaston Park Road, pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court to killing Kadeem Blackwood in Caxton Street recreation ground.

Michael Hamblett-Sewell, 20, of Marlborough Road, Derby, denies murder and will stand trial in October.

Kadeem died after being shot in the chest last November. Campbell was remanded in custody.

Ashley Campbell, also of Osmaston Park Road, admitted assisting an offender. He was also remanded in custody.
