Motorist, 24, dies in wall crash

A motorist has died after his car left the road and crashed into a wall in Derbyshire.

The 24-year-old man was driving a Saab on Cromford Road, Langley Mill, when the accident happened in the early hours of Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Derbyshire Police said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for a while following the accident. Any witnesses have been asked to contact police.
