Charges follow cannabis discovery

A teenager has been charged after a cannabis factory was discovered at a house in Derby.

Officers searched an address on Morningside Close in Allenton, Derby, just before 1030 BST on Monday.

They found around 700 suspected cannabis plants and equipment used for cultivation.

The 18-year-old was charged with production of a class B drug and was due to appear before magistrates in Derby on Tuesday.
