Trams are stuck in the depot because of frozen snow
A Derbyshire attraction is having to close for the half-term school holidays because of recent bad weather.
The Crich Tramway Village has been hit by heavy snow over the past few days and it has now frozen on the tracks.
The centre, which is 1,000ft (305m) above sea level, has been closed all winter while old track is replaced in part of the village.
Bosses said the museum would lose an estimated £27,000 as a result of this latest closure.
Curator Glynn Wilton said: "We have 60 tram cars in here [the depot] - about 15 of those actually run as part of a fleet we operate for the public.
"[The bottom of the depot] is covered in snow and we would have to clear all of that in order to get the running trams out."
