Man jailed over garden gun find

A Derby man has been jailed after a gun and bullets were found at his house.

Ferrari Forest-Clarke, 18, was sentenced to five years after admitting to possession of a prohibited firearm and ammunition.

Police raided his house on Greatorex Avenue in Allenton in July and found the items hidden in a bag behind a garden shed.

Forest-Clarke also admitted possession with intent to supply class C drugs at Derby Crown Court.

The court heard the revolver had been adapted to fire live rounds instead of blanks. Of the 20 bullets recovered, five had their tips ground down so they would burst on impact.
