Convoy tribute to dead teenagers

Crash tributes
Relatives of the victims have visited the scene

Dozens of cars have driven through a Derbyshire town in tribute to two teenagers killed in a road crash.

The pair, aged 16 and 18, from Ashbourne, died when their car collided with another on the A52 on Monday night. They have not been identified.

Friends in the town said the convoy had been organised as both were "car-mad".

Alice Greenwood, 12, who was in the second vehicle, was also killed. Her mother Juliette, 45, and sister Clara, six, were also injured.

The family was from Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

Mrs Greenwood remains in intensive care at Derbyshire Royal Infirmary.

Police described the scene of the crash, near Kirk Langley, as "horrendous".
