Further flood warnings are issued

Flooding in Ashbourne
Parts of Ashbourne were under water over the weekend

Further flood warnings have been issued in parts of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire after more rain was forecast in some areas.

The Environment Agency issued warnings on the River Trent at Swarkestone and Shardlow, Derbys, Sawley Marina, Notts, and Castle Donington, Leics.

On Saturday homes in Ashbourne in Derbyshire were flooded after the River Henmore burst its banks.

Residents have been asked to check with the Environment Agency for updates.
