Man bitten in cash point robbery

A man has been bitten and robbed in an incident in Derbyshire, police have said.

The 50-year-old man was withdrawing money from a cash machine on Crayford Road in Alvaston in the early hours when he was attacked.

He had just got hold of the cash when another man punched him, forcing him to the ground, and bit his hand before taking the money.

Police have asked anyone who witnessed the robbery to contact them.
