Prisoner on home leave absconds

Another prisoner from Sudbury Open Prison in Derbyshire has absconded, police have confirmed.

Daniel Shaun Wilson, 42, failed to return to the jail on Thursday after being granted home leave.

He was sentenced at Sheffield Crown Court in July 2007 to nearly three years for burglary.

Wilson is described as white, 5ft 9in (1.75m) tall, of medium build with brown hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

His last known address was Gleadless in Sheffield.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police.

More than 660 inmates have walked out of HMP Sudbury in the past 10 years.
