Motorcyclist dies in road crash

A man has died after his motorbike was in collision with a car in Derbyshire.

Police were called to Longmoor Road in Long Eaton at about 1610 BST on Friday. The man's Cagiva motorbike had been in collision with a Vauxhall Nova.

The 25-year-old man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham but later died from his injuries.

Police have asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen either vehicle before the collision, to contact them.
