Woman dies in cement lorry crash
A woman who died after being hit by a cement mixer as she crossed a road in Derby city centre has been identified.

Hollie Gill, 18, from Nottingham Road in Derby, was crossing Bradshaw Way from the Charnwood Street side when the incident happened on Monday afternoon.

She was taken to the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary where she died.

A man, who was also crossing the road, was hit by another vehicle before the cement mixer struck the woman. The man sustained slight injuries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Derbyshire Police.
