Man hurt in samurai sword fight
A man has been taken to hospital with slash and puncture wounds after a brawl in which a samurai sword was used.

The fight took place late on Sunday night in a clearing near Shipley Lane, Shipley, in Derbyshire.

It involved about eight men, some of whom had weapons including what is believed to be a samurai sword.

A 19-year-old man was taken to Ilkeston Hospital with a slash wound to his arm, and a puncture wound to his body. Five men were arrested.

The men have been interviewed and are currently on police bail. Officers have appealed for further witnesses.
