Three men abscond from open jail

The trio walked out on Wedneday and have not returned
Three prisoners from Birmingham have absconded from a Sudbury Open Prison in south Derbyshire.

All three men walked out of the prison on Wednesday.

Narinder Kandola, 27, was sentenced to two years and six months for attempted robbery and burglary at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Curtis Brown, 24, was serving a three year and two month sentence for robbery. Shazad Khan, 34, was sentenced to three years for robbery.

Kandola is described as Asian, 5ft 10in (1.78m) tall, of slim build, with short black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in Edgbaston.

Brown is described as black, 5ft 8in tall (1.73), of medium build, and has short black hair and brown eyes. His last address was in Newtown.

Khan has links with the Saltley area. He is Asian, 5ft 11ins (1.8m) tall, of slim build. He has short black hair, brown eyes and a black goatee beard.

More than 660 inmates have walked out of Sudbury prison in the past 10 years.
