Hairy baby girl is talk of town
Mae Perrot
Mae Perrot's hair has grown quickly since her birth two months ago
A two-month-old girl is attracting more attention than most babies - as she has sprouted a full head of hair.

Mae Perrot, daughter of Amy, 29, and Darren, 32, from Matlock, Derbyshire, was born eight weeks ago and her hair has not stopped growing since.

Mrs Perrot said people whisper when she takes her daughter out and one girl even thought she was a dog.

But she said she had no intention of cutting her daughter's hair yet.

"I wasn't that surprised as my eldest son actually had as much hair and the second one was also quite hairy," said Mrs Perrot.

"Mae's the third and was really hairy so we would have been more surprised if she didn't have any hair."

Mrs Perrot said people were intrigued by Mae's hair. "We're on holiday camping and the other day I had Mae in a sling when a little girl came up to me.

"She asked if I was carrying an animal as she thought I was holding one of those little dogs."
