Storm-damaged schools made safe
Work is continuing over the weekend to make sure two Derbyshire schools are safe after Thursday's high winds.

St Peter's School in Littleover and Lees Brook Community Sports College both suffered roof damage.

Sara Bolton from Derby City Council said all schools were being asked to check their boundaries, any trees on site along with the buildings.

She added it was important to ensure pupils were safe should there be a recurrence of the storms.
