More rain is expected across Derbyshire and East Staffordshire this weekend, bringing more flooding.
One more serious flood warning has been issued for the Cavendish Trent area of the River Trent, following forecasts of two days of heavy rain in the region.
The county council estimated that clear-up and repair costs would run into hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Clive Moseby, from Derbyshire County Council, said people living on flood plains should be prepared.
"If you've got some wood or maybe even black bin-liners that you can fill with soil, if you can't get sand-bags, there are measures you take to prevent flooding of your particular property," he said.
On Saturday Calke Abbey at Ticknall reopened to the public after carpets, paintings and 150 books were soaked by flooding.

Five inches (12.7cm) of water came into the building through doors and the roof.
Property manager Stewart Alcock said: "The National Trust is a conservation charity. Our sole purpose is really to protect and conserve our important sites and yes it is very dismaying when damage of this type occurs."
A flood watch remain in place for the River Trent and its tributaries in Derbyshire from Newton Solney to Castle Donington.
A clean-up operation got under way in the north of the county on Wednesday after towns and villages were hit hard by flooding.
So many roads were closed because of flooding that the county council ran out of warning signs, a spokeswoman said.
The council said that in high-risk areas sandbags were available free of charge once a flood alert had been issued by the Environment Agency.
