New powers to tackle town's yobs
Police officers have been given extra powers to deal with troublemakers in a Derbyshire town.

A dispersal order has been put in place in Heanor for six months to allow police to move groups of two or more youngsters who are behaving badly.

Officers said the initiative has been supported by town and borough councillors and the local community.

Dispersal orders have already been set up in neighbouring towns, including Ilkeston and Alfreton.
