Family and friends have paid tribute to a man who died after being stabbed outside a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday.
Simeon Grignon, aged 26, of Shelton Lock, Derby, was injured in a fight outside Flares nightclub on Becket Street in Derby.
Three men, two aged 23 and another aged 24, were arrested on Sunday and were being questioned by police.
Mr Grignon was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
A police officer approached him in The Wardwick in Derby just after the fight.
Mr Grignon told the officer he thought he had been stabbed before collapsing and losing consciousness. He was taken to hospital were he subsequently died.
On Monday people laid flowers at the scene of the incident.
Clive Anderson, the dead man's uncle, said: "He was very tall, he was big, he was loving - always had a smile on his face. Everybody loved him - he was someone that everybody looked up to. All his cousins looked up to him and he'll be missed.
"You'll see in the days to come how many tributes will be here and how people will talk about him, as somebody who will never be forgotten. We all miss him so much already."
