Bank holiday warning for bikers
Extra mobile speed cameras are being used on roads across Derbyshire over the bank holiday weekend in a bid to slow down bikers.

Several accident blackspots will be targeted from Saturday by the Derbyshire Safety Camera Partnership.

Project manager Maggie Ward said: "All we want is to provide highly visible enforcement at hotspot routes to encourage people to slow down."

Ten people died in motorcycle accidents in the county in 2004.

The mobile safety cameras will be in operation at the A6 Belper, A6 Bakewell, A6 Taddington to Buxton, A5012 Via Gellia , A632 Matlock and the A623 Stoney Middleton.
