Consumers should check their beds after a line of mattresses were found to be a fire risk, say trading standards staff.
Bed shops have been selling mattresses with a foam that does not meet fire resistance regulations.
Ilkeston Co-op and The Bed Centre in Clay Cross have pulled a batch of single Rest Easy Comfort mattresses.
Anyone who bought a single mattress from either store in the past six months, and holds proof of purchase, should return it for a full refund.
Councillor Walter Burrows, Derbyshire County Council's cabinet member for public protection and transport, said: "Both stores are eager to recall the faulty items so if you think you own one of these mattresses, return it to the shop immediately."
Other outlets selling the mattresses outside Derbyshire have also been alerted.
