Papers make tabloid format change
Two of the area's oldest newspapers have changed shape.

The decision by the Ashbourne News Telegraph and Uttoxeter Advertiser to go tabloid was made after discussions with local people.

It means there are no longer any local broadsheet newspapers left in Derbyshire.

The editor of both papers, Paul Hazeldine, says it will make them easier to read, but news content will not be affected.
