Firm expects to run Sunday trains
Midland Mainline
The trains will run as usual on Sunday
Train services disrupted last Sunday when drivers refused to work are expected to run as normal this weekend.

Midland Mainline services between London, East Midlands and Yorkshire were cancelled on 12 December.

Midland Mainline says drivers have agreed to work this weekend. More talks with the union Aslef are scheduled for next week.

Travellers had to catch buses or travel with rival operators as a result of the earlier action.

None of the firm's 200 drivers are contracted to work on Sunday and it relies on drivers volunteering for overtime.

Aslef members have rejected a 4% pay offer and no workers offered to work last Sunday to highlight the dispute.

The firm is reviewing the policy of not contracting drivers to work on Sundays.
