GP with child porn is struck off
Kevin O'Sullivan
Kevin O'Sullivan was jailed for a year
A GP who hid a secret camera in a swimming pool changing room has been struck off the medical register.

Kevin O'Sullivan, who had worked at the Jessop Medical Practice in Riddings, Derbyshire, was jailed for a year after he admitted filming naked children.

The GP, formerly of Bakewell, also had 200 pornographic pictures of children on computers.

The General Medical Council said his offences were "extremely serious" and undermined public confidence.

'Risk to patients'

Members of the panel, sitting in Manchester, said: "His actions have breached the trust and diminished the respect which the public are entitled to place in doctors, and seriously undermined the profession as a whole.

They added: "The committee consider Dr O'Sullivan would present a risk to patients and the public if allowed to practice."
