Stately home pioneers own pint
A Derbyshire stately home is going into business with a brewery because it gets through so much beer.

An outbuilding at Thornbridge Hall, Ashford-in-the-Water is being converted into a mini beer-making factory.

It has gone into business with the Sheffield-based Kelham Island Brewery which makes the award winning real ale called Pale Rider.

Thornbridge already produces a range of luxury fine foods including teas, chutneys and plum puddings.
