Managers at an historic mill in Derbyshire, featured in the TV series 'Restoration' are hoping to secure grant aid after a rise in visitors.
The programme helped highlight Richard Arkwright's mill at Cromford although it missed out on £3m prize money.
The Arkwright Society said that visitor numbers have soared by as much as 60% following the programme.
The mill featured in the BBC2 series last year and is also classed as a world heritage site.
