Police name vehicle blaze victim

Burned out car being removed
The car was found in Kirkby Lonsdale's Mitchelgate

A 22-year-old man who died in a car fire has been named by police.

Electrician Tom Hadwin was found dead in his car in his home town of Kirkby Lonsdale, Cumbria, early on Friday.

It is thought that a problem with the vehicle caused the fire and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, police said.

His parents, Dave and Judy, said they are coming to terms with the accident. Police are carrying out tests to discover the cause of the fire.
