Police warning over rogue traders

People in South Cumbria have been warned to be on their guard against rogue traders.

Dalton in Furness residents have been targeted by cold callers offering services including decorating, power-washing driveways and roof repairs.

Police and trading standards officers are investigating reports that large amounts of money have been charged for very little work.

Anyone wanting work done is advised to use reputable tradesmen.
