Lake improvement plans discussed

Plans to improve the water quality and landscape around a Cumbrian lake are to be unveiled.

Environmental experts will gather on Friday to discuss ways to improve Windermere in the Lake District.

Topics to be discussed include how to keep the lake clean, improving its shores and its recreational use.

Organisations taking part include the National Trust, the Forestry Commission, the Environment Agency and Bassenthwaite Reflections.
