Up to 30 jobs are to be lost at a west Cumbrian seafood factory.
Cumbrian Seafoods said the redundancies were necessary because it had been forced to shelve investment plans on its production plant in Maryport.
The company, which has been restructuring its business for the past 18 months, said some staff would be redeployed to a site in Whitehaven.
Last year the company, which was founded in 1997, opened a £10m facility in Seaham, County Durham.
The firm provides a range of fresh fish, shellfish and seafood products to UK supermarkets.
