Cyclist groped during forest trip

A woman cyclist was sexually assaulted during a bike ride in a popular Cumbrian forest.

Police said the victim had become separated from her boyfriend during a trek through Grizedale Forest in the south of the county on Saturday.

A man grabbed her from behind when she got off her bike and groped her.

The attacker was in his late 40s or early 50s, about 5ft 10in tall, with a slim build and was wearing a blue waterproof jacket.
