Live ammunition seized in raids

Detectives investigating drugs and money laundering have seized live ammunition in a series of raids.

Police searched a number of properties in Haverigg, Millom and Ulverston in south Cumbria.

Officers also took an imitation gun, a laptop and financial documents during the operation on Tuesday.

A spokesman said the operation was part of an ongoing investigation by South Cumbria CID. No arrests were made but inquiries are continuing.
