Arrest over alleyway sex incident

A man has been arrested after a teenage girl was subjected to a sex crime in a back lane in Cumbria.

Police said the victim was approached in an alleyway behind Victoria Road in Barrow late on Wednesday night.

Officers have now sealed off the area. No details on the nature of the incident have been released.
