Police reach out to Lakes' Poles

Police in Cumbria are trying to strengthen their relationship with the Polish community in a poster campaign.

Officers based in the South Lakes area of the county are publicising their contact details and key messages on the new Polish-language posters.

They were translated with the assistance of the Cumbria Multi Cultural Service based at Barrow.

The posters also urge people to visit police stations in Windermere and Ambleside if they have any problems.
