Six arrested over village brawl
Six people were arrested after a large-scale brawl broke out in a Cumbrian village.

Police and community support officers were called to the fight at Friars Garth in Abbeytown, near Wigton, late on Saturday.

Four women and two men, aged between 19 and 46 and from the North Cumbria area, were arrested at the scene.

All were given £80 fixed penalty notices for drunk and disorderly and public order offences.
