Family tribute to car crash woman
Rosemary McFie
Mrs McFie will be "sorely missed" by those who knew her
Tributes have been paid to a 71-year-old mother-of-four who died in a crash in Cumbria.

Rosemary McFie was an active member of the church and the wider community of Millom and described as someone who would be sorely missed.

The widow was pronounced dead at the scene after three cars crashed on the A5093 at The Green on Saturday.

Three people in a Volkswagen were hospitalised following the crash and the road was closed for eight hours.

The eight-year-old passenger of a Vauxhall Vectra was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Mrs McFie, of Devonshire Road, Millom, leaves behind a son Andrew and three daughters, Katharine, Anna and Jane.

A statement said: "The family is sad to announce the tragic and untimely death of Rosemary McFie.

"Rosemary was a much loved mother and grandmother who will be sorely missed by all who knew her."
