Holiday park extends its season
A holiday park in the Lake District has been granted an eight-week extension to its tourist season.

South Lakeland Parks can now keep its Fallbarrow Park site at Bowness open during the winter months.

Previously the park closed on 14 November for four months to allow the environment to recover from visitors.

Now the Lake District National Park Authority has said holiday homeowners can enjoy a break at the site from November to 14 January.
