Lakes survey to help plan future
Eroded path
The survey will help shape the future of the Lakes
Website users are being asked what they think makes the Lake District landscapes so special in a new survey.

The Lake District National Parks' Authority (LDNPA) questionnaire will help planners preserve the area and give them ideas on improvements.

Information gathered from the questionnaire will also be added to the results of other field surveys.

From 13 August anyone who visits www.lake-district.gov.uk will be asked to complete the questionnaire.

LDNPA landscape architect, Chris Greenwood, said: "This gives us the opportunity to reach people whose opinions might be missed through normal surveys.

"Information gathered will be added to field surveys and face-to-face research with residents and visitors, to provide a reference document for everyone with an interest in the future of the National Park."
