The results are in after thousands of people across Cumbria cast their votes in the local elections.

Eden Council saw the county's only upset as the authority slipped from the independents following Tory gains.

Labour retained control of Copeland Council and Allerdale remains under no overall control.

Carlisle and Barrow also continue under no overall control, and in South Lakeland the Liberal Democrats continue to dominate.
