The man was kayaking on the River Lune when his boat overturned
The search has resumed for a man swept away after his boat capsized in a Cumbrian river.

Two people are thought to have been in the kayak, which overturned on the River Lune, west of Sedburgh, on Wednesday afternoon.

One person managed to swim to safety, but the second, a 47-year-old man from west Wales, did not re-surface.

Police divers, mountain rescue teams and specialist dog handlers are assisting in the search.
