A man killed in an industrial accident at a car break-down firm in Cumbria has been described as a devoted family man and loyal employee.
Stuart Mullen, 33, of Brisco Road in Carlisle, died in the incident at Auto Recoveries, Willowhome, Carlisle, on Tuesday morning.
It is believed a piece of industrial machinery fell on him.
The circumstances of his death are being investigated by police and the Health and Safety Executive.
In a statement released through Cumbria police, his family said: "Stuart was a very devoted husband and dad, who lived for his family and friends.
'Utmost respect'
"He was willing to help anybody, family, friend or workmate. He was an easy-going, hard-working man, highly respected by everyone who knew him and he will be sadly missed by all."
A tribute from the company read: "He wasn't just an employee, he was a member of our family, as was all his family.
"Any of our customers, or the emergency services who came into contact with Mully had the utmost respect for him. No matter what he was asked to do, he would do it willingly and with enthusiasm.
"Quite recently, Mully trained to do heavy recovery work, which he has always longed to do. Recovery operators are a special breed and none more so than Mully.
"This company will never be the same again and our sympathy goes out to Nikki, Corrine, Richard, and the whole of Mully's family."
