A Cumbrian library is beginning a new chapter following a major refurbishment and upgrade of facilities.
The project at Keswick library involved arranging the interior from two floors onto a single ground floor, making it fully accessible to disabled users.
Work is now complete and the building reopens to the public on Monday.
The library also has new stock of books and DVDs available and will be extending its computer facilities within the next month.
